I draw significant inspiration from travelling across Europe, Asia and in particular my time in Melbourne, Australia. I see street art as a powerful way to bring art to a public domain, to neighbourhoods, communities and locals residents.
Hosier Lane - Melbourne, Australia
My time in Melbourne working alongside street artists and organisations to revitalise streets following the covid pandemic fuelled this passion. Street art taught me the value of accessible and immersive art which I strive to bring the same vibrancy with macramé and knot tying to the streets.
I hope to reflect my goal of showcasing knot-tying as an art form and that it speaks to the public - transforming craft into a shared experience that can be appreciated beyond gallery walls and homes.
