This beginner-friendly session guides you through essential knotting techniques as you create a functional, handcrafted plant hanger to take home. Follow Mr Macramé, an expert instructor, as he break down each step, ensuring you build confidence while developing skills you'll use across future projects.

All materials used are Premium Recycled Cotton Cords, utilising discarded fashion fabrics then re-spun into gorgeous macramé cords. Within the workshop, learn about the materials used, the varieties of natural cords available and how natural and recycled cottons can make practical, planet friendly, fashionable products.

This workshop is perfect for anyone curious about macrame, no prior experience necessary. Leave with a beautiful finished piece and the knowledge to continue your macramé journey.

Location / Arrival - 
52 O Street Studios, Unit 210,
Washington DC, 20001, US.
The studios are secured, please check your confirmation email on how to access the building on arrival. To allow all attendees to start the workshop proactively, please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to start time to get settled. If you're running late, don't hesitate to call or text to notify.

Inclusions -
Small snacks, soft drinks, tea and coffee are included, but it is recommended to have a nutritional breakfast before attending to remain focussed thoroughout the workshop.

Parking -
There is usually ample street parking around the studio and neighbouring streets. Please double check parking limitations, there'll be an opportunity to move your car if it is required.

Accessibility -
Unfortunately the lift is currently out of order, please note the studio is located up to flights of stairs and unaccessible for wheelchair users. Please note, our goal is to make sure the craft of macramé is available for all, please email hello@mrmacrame.com for future accessible locations for workshops.

Refunds -
We get it, things change, life happens and we try to remain as flexible as we can to make sure your experience is enjoyable for everyone attending. Due to the ordering and preparation required for workshops;

50% Refund amount is available if cancellation occurs within 72 hours of the workshop date.
80% Refund amount is available if your workshop space is re-filled until 72 hours prior to the workshop. (20% will be use as administrative/preparation fees)

Exchanges -
Workshops occur twice a year and can be credited towards the next semester free of charge if you have a change of mind outside of 72 hours prior to the workshop. If you're changing the workshop to a higher priced workshop, then extra fees will be charged as necessary.
