Welcome to the Mr Macramé Atelier

British born in Leicester, now residing in Washington DC, Peter holds a passion for textiles and dressmaking that can be traced back to childhood. Inspired by Grandmother and Aunt who were jewellery makers with a fledgling art and craft store, Newcastle, UK.

Following 15 years within the fashion industry, artist turned fashion designer creates couture clothing with sustainability, texture, craftsmanship and creativity at it's core values. Peter relies on experience and eye for design to hand-make one of a kind garments.

Cannot speak highly enough Pete was a legend, so friendly and helpful - and so talented! The studio was such a beautiful and inspiring space to learn in. I look forward to honing my skills and learning more from the master that is Mr Macrame!

I absolutely enjoyed the class with Mr Macramè (Pete). He is a fabulous teacher; patient, fun and engaging. I was thrilled with the piece I created on the day as were all the participants with theirs. I totally recommend this class. Thanks Mr Macramè!
