'Waste Knot Want Knot' - Fine Art Series

An exploration of materiality, sustainability and the enduring craft of macramé. This series takes discarded macrame cords and transforms them into handmade, recycled canvas. The water-color paintings depict intricate knots and rope forms as a study of their beauty and structure in 2D form.

The work delves into the cyclical nature of creation and destruction, highlighting how remnants of one process can become the beginning of another. By reinterpreting physical knots as painted studies, it closes the loop between waste, fashion and art.
