Knotted Colour Study I-VI

The series explores the physical and emotional entanglement of human feeling. The series began from the idea that, as humans, we can become caught within a single emotion - recent studies have shown our neurotransmitters can looping and and tighten until we're unable to experience anything beyond that state. Each knot represents one of six core emotions, expressed through colour and form. The intertwining cords mirror the way emotions bind, constrict or are let loose. Through this study, emotion becomes something to be seen, understood, touched and gently untangled.
